Accepted with a fellowship and a quarter-time assistantship for tuition, $17000 stipend, and another $6000 in summer support.

Played phone tag a bit before finally talking today. She said that their budget isn't finalized yet so they are unsure of how many people they can actually accept. But they already accepted some people so I know I'm not wanted *that* badly. I'm glad I got accepted/fully funded at other programs before this!

Got an email from DGS informing me of decision. Official packet to follow in the mail.

Contacted them at the beginning of Feb about a visit and got pushed off to wait until the group visit in March; then didn't hear anything until the rejection. Kind of surprised and disappointed with how it happened.

Phone call from professor. Potential funding for 4 years.

to those accepted/waitlisted, did someone from the department call you or did you contact the department about your status?

Received a generic rejection email at 11:55 am CST this morning.

I thought that they sent a really nice, really well written letter - the model of how to do that sort of thing. Best of luck to everyone else, it's a great program.

TA with 9 months funding and Tuition Waiver

Two rejections down, two decisions to go. All this disappointment is certainly not helping me finish my MA thesis...
