I was offered a funded position through the Writing Program this morning. I'll be accepting the offer. Still in disbelief, but I am ready to start this next part of my life!

No email or anything, just noticed the status on the website

I reached out and inquired, they said offers have been made and official notices should be out in a week. Congratulations to all admitted.

Accepted through the online portal with The President's Scholarship for 75% funding.

Very kind email. Noted that there's likely to be a lot of wait list movement due to COVID-19. Will personally be dropping from list due to COVID impacting my current MA program progress.

To the poster down below, you had to email ucr to get your decision? Does this mean if you haven't heard back it's likely a rejection?

Email to check admissions decision, linked to rejection letter on website.

The E-mail said a lot of wait-list movement is possible because of Covid19 related uncertainty.

off the waitlist

Email to check decision portal and acceptance within. Declined because I had already accepted elsewhere. Final stats 2a/0w/6r.

Attached a letter to their email. said it's a very short waitlist

To the Montana poster below, I had the exact same experience, but obviously with a different outcome. Was tired of waiting so emailed, received a generic email back with a link to the portal, and there was an acceptance letter from the dean of the graduate school. No details about funding. Letter was not dated, so I have no idea when they made this decision. So. Weird. Awesome! But weird. And so my season ends: 2a/1w/3r/0p

I emailed to check on my decision status. They sent back a very generic email with a link to the portal with my updated decision. I wonder when they would have let me know about my rejection if I hadn't asked... kind of a sucky way to give decisions if you ask me
