Its a waitlist since someone I know got an admit today (South Indian college). A request to people admitted to UCSD who have received better admits to reject the offer so waitlisted people like me can get offer.

Has anyone yet not heard back from UCSD (for MSCS)? If so, has anyone contacted the grad admissions office regarding the same?

Switching to cs. Has an undergrad degree in math.

Interview with prospective PI

I have year of internship experience in the US, and 4 years of professional work experience in related field outside the country. I'm surprised seeing all the rejections. Did not think getting in to a M.S. program would be this tough. To all the fellas who got the same result, stay strong. This does not define who you are.
