Somewhat surprised, given my academic and professional experience. Nothing is inevitable, but I have gotten into six schools of equal prestige and regard. Got into my preferred school, though. No love lost!

Kind of surprised, but looking at the acceptance statistics, I didn't seem to have the grades to get in. Already got into my dream program so it didn't hurt as much! Congrats on everyone who got in!

I'm a little surprised, since I've already been published in a research journal, I had 5 strong LOR's and I'm in a ton of extracurriculars/volunteer work. But it's okay. I'm actually not upset - I pretty much decided on another school before hearing back from Vandy. Congrats to anyone who got in!

I can barely type this post through the tears of joy obstructing my vision! This is a dream come true. I am a Nashvile native and have dreamed of attending this program since high school. I was denied to Vandy for undergrad and have been determined ever since to get in for grad school. Hard work, perseverance, and hope does amazing things. Congrats to all of those admitted! I look forward to seeing you this fall! ANCHOR DOWN!

I'm in shock.

I heard from a graduate student who is currently in the program that the admissions committee met last week to finalize decisions, so it is very likely that we will hear back soon. Good luck to everyone!
