Waited for forever on a decision. This is a win for me

Very generic email - apparently they only admitted 5 people this year. Pretty bummed, I thought I had a really good fit with a couple professors here.

For Ed.S. degree in school psyc. Had interview January 23.

Accepted, said they cannot provide funding at this time but will keep me updated.

Got an email from the physics department graduate admissions chair informing me that I had been accepted. No GRE, no publications, roughly 3 years of research experience in various fields, PER interest

Email stating important update in applicant portal which was just a generic rejection letter. Completed both BA and MA in experimental psych, have 1 publication, and another in progress.

Short generic rejection email, but had a ton of typos, which I thought was very odd.

PI not mentioned in my SOP reached out for a potential interview
