Rejected from MC92 (Power and Energy Systems) but invited to be considered for admission to MC81 (Mechanical Engineering)

Email to check portal. Rejected but received an offer to do a Master's in the program with 40% of tuition covered. I plan on turning down the offer because I have a PhD offer with funding/stipend in the Physics department.

Offered masters admission instead

Got a scholarship worth 3300 dollars.
