What's happening at McGill? When are they planning to come out with decisions? It's already mid-March!!!! Does anyone know anything???

To the poster below: did you receive the MEDA award? How did they notify you? (by POI email or other ways) and my status is "submitted" since 15, Jan. What about you (submitted)?

Already had communication with Professor who will supervise me, since late October. He was willing to take me in. Masters from IIT Bombay. 6 months Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at IISc, Bangalore. Currently at JRF at IIT Bombay.

Its almost 3 months, my status still says "in-review". Is it true if McGill takes too long to reply, it means a reject?

Re: MEDA for ECE. No, I haven't received anything regarding the MEDA. However, they replied to my inquiry in uApply, and said that the results will be out within 2 weeks.

For the poster below who got in, do you plan to accept? This program is my top choice and I really hope the waitlist works out!!!

To the first person who posted about MEDA (for the ECE department), have you heard anything from the department? Do you have any idea if the ECE department has contacted its MEDA recipients?

To the McGill admit below: were you previously waitlisted, or was this your first notification?

TPB: Thanks for your reply. If you don't mind, are your UBC & Queen's offers funded? How much have they offered?

TPB: No, I am very certain they have not sent their offers out yet. I have received offers from UBC and Queens already but nothing from McGill. Also, no one has posted a McGill acceptance yet. But, it should be soon. Last year, they sent their offers out early March/late Feb.

Has anyone received an offer from McGill yet? Have they started with the 1st round?

I received an email as well regarding MEDA fellowship, however, it was a mistake from their side which they confirmed through a second email. However, they left the message "Recipients of the MEDA award will be contacted by their respective departments shortly." Is there anyone who has been contacted by his/her respective department confirming the MEDA award?
