Sooo...has anyone else seen stage 6 on their application? The online stage describes this as in graduate college review. It says a recommendation has been made...does that mean potential acceptance or am I getting my hopes up?

A generic email informing that it was competitive and many qualified applicants have been turned away. 1a/1w/0p

Not surprised after not hearing back from them in March. However, I already accepted another school before I got the letter, so it all worked out. Everyone hang in there.

Email with an odd letter attached: "The Graduate School has received your application for admission and has referred it to the Department of English. It is their recommendation, because your application was not ultimately selected for admission into our MFA program,, that you not be admitted to the degree program for which you have applied. I have approved this recommendation." The typo (,,)made me feel a little happy I will be attending a different program:)

Flattered, but planning on turning this down since I've already accepted another offer. Hope this helps another waitlister! :)

Email to check portal. Had already made my decision to go to Purdue. But still, my pride is wounded :(

Official rejection in an attached pdf. Kind note from Daniel Mueller saying my application was strong. 1a/3r/0p.

I was offered a funded position through the Writing Program this morning. I'll be accepting the offer. Still in disbelief, but I am ready to start this next part of my life!

No email or anything, just noticed the status on the website

I reached out and inquired, they said offers have been made and official notices should be out in a week. Congratulations to all admitted.
