I was informed I was wait listed at NYU when I e-mailed on 3/16. Today 4/9 I e-mailed again and was informed it is unlikely that I will be accepted off of the wait list due to the limited class size.

Heard I was wait listed due to space, if you got accepted and don't want to go here please let them know so they can send out more acceptances!! Thank you and best of luck to all of you!

I still haven't received my decision, don't know what's taking so long. I've also already been accepted into NYU Courant

It is a painful wait. Really thought schools were serious when they said, 4-6 weeks. 4-6 weeks turns into 12 weeks!

Come on, what are they thinking? They are not even in the top 50. Why are they taking so long??

It seems that applicants, who have not heard back from Poly NYU, are basically rejected. They announce rejections very late.

Asked them about admits via email, they said the results will be announced in 4-6 weeks! Don't they think it's a bit late?!

Anyone heard back from NYU POLY? I have not seen a post about NYU POLY PhD Computer Science.

To the poster below: they have offered admission to some applicants (the admitted students event was March 31st).

Strong LORs and Statement of Purpose. Went here for undergrad so was expecting this. Also offered $6,000/year scholarship.

Just received the email!

Had interview over the phone and was verbally accepted by the end of it. Acceptance letter & financial aid package will be coming in the mail. I'm so happy... Just hope the funding is there. Good luck to everyone!
