To the McGill admit below: Can I know the deadline to accept the offer? I am still waiting, so I think there may be a second round offer?

TPB: Updated with stats, GPA is grad. I received an e-mail from Student Affairs Coordinator. My initials are at the very end of the alphabet.

Congrats to the person admitted below, may I ask how did you receive the offer? your last name first letter and your gpa and stat please?

Got accepted with a MEDA, however, it is probably worth mentioning that for now the ECE department has recommended my admission to the Enrolment Services-Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, and once they approve, then I will get my final admission offer letter.

Does anyone have any news about this program（MS/Ph.D. in Statistics）from department of math & stat ? I have sent email to the department and they say it's a rolling basis. So if anyone received news from this program but will not come, I really hope that you could decline it early because I really really want to attend this program. Thank you!

TPB: Thanks for your reply! But do they generally take longer than other places every year? I mean, I don't know what their timeline every year is...but late March is too late I guess haha

TPB: If you email the department notifying them of your other offers and deadlines and mention that you are interested in hearing from McGill before making a decision, they will forward the email to the right person and you may hear back sooner if they are interested. Doing this is pretty common. Doing so may also apply some pressure and help the rest of us hear back sooner :) Good luck!

Does anyone know whether McGill has given out 1st round offers? Quite late already, isn't it? Also, which professor am I supposed to email if I want to know my status for making a decision (as there are other deadlines) ? Does anyone know anything?

To the poster below - when did you receive the MEDA announcement?

Did my previous degree at McGill; already knew the supervisor. Got MEDA.

Contacted my POI and inquired about the status of my application and he said that my application couldn't make it. Got rejected from everywhere.

To the query below: Yes, I received MEDA. I got a mail separately from the university for the MEDA. And, the admit letter was on the portal. The status is showing "Decision Made". Inside the page, it says "You have been accepted".

This is what I get when I ask about the results: "Hello, The admissions committee is currently evaluating Phd applications, and will begin evaluation MA applications after that, they will hopefully begin communicating decisions towards the end of the month." Good luck to all
