Accepted off the waitlist!

Thank you for your application to the graduate program in computer science at the University of Texas at Austin. Our on-campus admissions decisions have been made, and regrettably, we are not be able to offer you admission to the on-campus master's program. Due to extraordinarily high application volume, we were able to extend offers of admission to less than 5% of this year's applicant pool. Because of this volume, the admissions committee cannot provide individual feedback to applicants who were not selected for admission.

had to email them twice to get some answers...

Rejected, but offered admit to MSCS online as consolation.

Nothing surprising here. Was expecting a rejection, considering UTA already sent their admits a long time back.

If you are not planning to attend, please let them know. God bless you.

Devastated....was my dream school :(

I fully expected this after not hearing anything in February, but it's really annoying they waited until April to give final results. Glad I already was accepted and decided on another school!
