For the guy WL asking. I am waiting same as you. I saw someone posted his acceptance yesterday. So, there might be a possibility that you get accepted. However, I believe those who got accepted had already received the notification. Now, they want to see who reject the offer in order to send the notification to the next inline. So, you need to hope that not all accept the offer and you are close in line. Best of luck

It's been a long wait during which I changed my mind about career path. Still, pretty disappointed at the rejection.

Data Science, MSE Program: I applied by the regular decision deadline. Just received first communication today. I am happy to be accepted, but I already committed to another school because of the late date of notification. Darn. Might have considered it if it came earlier.

CGPA 7.7/10 , Computer Science Dual Degree from IIT. Great Sop and LoRs

Conditional offer from UBC Vancouver. Conditional upon 3k CAD, and sending official transcripts and certificates. Says nothing about scholarship or anything. Full payment disclosed. (45k for Intl. Stu). Also says to prepare for physical presence in August 21, as classes may be held on-campus.

Ignore Wl, can we just mass mail them its been more than 10 weeks, and we have payed almost 80 dollars to apply, we deserve timely results from any university.This is not done. So annoying !

Was waitlisted. Did not expect it. Happy.

Ignore the acceptance and the previous post. I'm really disappointed that a top program still can't figure its sh*t out when it comes to maintaining its yield and sending out decisions on time. It would be a different situation if every other program was doing this but that's simply not true. They've been doing this consistently for a while. The least they could do is let people know that they will likely be waitlisted or rejected beyond this point because that seems to be the most likely scenario. I hope they face some repercussions that will prevent them from doing the same thing next year.
