Really nice rejection email from Lisa Schlesinger

I was admitted off the waitlist with a tuition waiver and a decent stipend. This was my top school so I have accepted the offer

Found out by checking portal. didn't receive any mail or email updates. I emailed last week & they told me to wait until my portal was updated.

No email or snail mail, so I called to check, and embarrassingly they had just updated online profiles this morning.

Received an email about a fellowship/GA the following day (2/22)!

A program that is notorious for not accepting their undergrads (me) to the Writers Workshop. Sent me a letter by postal service dated March 6th, the online admissions profile still says in progress today (3/13).

Letter postmarked 3/6/24. Closes me out at 0a/0w/5r

Official letter. 5th application cycle's the charm! Hep-ex

Letter arrived, postmarked March 6. Got the note about manuscript being well-received/encouraging me to apply again. Not like I actually thought I would get in but still... ow. This process is brutal. 0a/1w/4r/2p

3a/1w/4r/2p Got the note about liking my manuscript etc etc. Rejected from my top school, accepted into my 2nd, waitlisted at my 3rd, so there's lots of bright sides!

0a/1w/6r/6p, was accepting this so not bummed
