To everyone who did not receive any decision, I was told by the program admin. that they are done with on-campus interviews and focusing on selecting applicants for a skype interview. Did any international applicant receive any skype interview decision yet?

Not surprised. I anticipated the email would arrive around this week. Minnesota is so cold and the package is not as impressive as private universities. I didn't plan to go and I am happy that I don't have to struggle among offers. Plus, I don't like Minnesota's system that they don't recruit student assistants/RA/volunteer outside of its school/department.

Had in-person interview Jan 27-29, waitlisted via email. They've made "initial offers... but if future opportunities become available we will contact you as soon as possible".

First interview was done through Skype

Got an email from GSAS. No publications, experience working as full time technician for over a year at a good university. Undergrad from outside the U.S. Very happy:)
