I got asked to make a 15-minute video answering a couple of questions related to research fit and TA suitability. To the International person below me who also got invited to make a video, have you heard back yet? [dated Jan 15th]

organic chemistry. 15 minute interview with 2 professors. 4 publications (one 1st author), multiple conferences, Goldwater scholarship.

I got an invite for an in-person interview (analogous to a visitation weekend) for the Scripps Research Institute (idk why gradcafe only lets me put Scripps College).

Physical/computational/quantum chem. One 1st author theory paper covering optoelectronic materials.

Received an unofficial rejection by PI in interested: "if you haven’t heard by now, I don’t think an acceptance is going to be forthcoming"

1.5 years of undergraduate research, 2.5 years industry experience, one second author publication. I received an email with an invitation to visit campus in mid February or the second week of March.

Was invited for in-person interview in either late February or March.
