To the people that received Northwestern interviews: congrats! Curious as to what your area of focus is/ who your poi is. Mine modern/contemporary african and african diaspora art. Poi: Huey Copeland.

Thanks for your response! Contemporary art / Media studies.

To the posters below offered interviews, what are your disciplines / areas of interest, if you don't mind me asking?

Two emails from separate faculty members for interviews for this week.

Email to interview with Director of Graduate Studies. Another faculty member will follow up shortly to schedule an additional conversation.

Email from PI. Another will follow for second interview with another faculty member.

Email to check website portal

skype interview with POI

Accepted with a TA position and full funding.

Serious...? It's May 10th. I think they are not expecting me to accept it. Already made the decision anyway.

To the poster below: I still haven't heard either - I'm hoping for this week.

I obviously expect a rejection at this point, but I'd still like to have an official information - did anyone who has not heard yet try to contact Rutgers?

Rejected off the waitlist; was expected at this point!

Not sure why I recieved a rejection email today considering they sent me the same email back in late March. I guess they disliked my app enough to want to reject me twice lol
