3.93 OIF vet Arabic speaker not sure what else they're looking for

admitted in general linguistics, email to them and being told that there will be no financial support during the MS program.

Was given a merit-based $6,000 scholarship. Amounts to 1/6 of the program cost for the first year, so I would still be paying $30,000 for the first year. However, they said that I had a chance to get an additional scholarship based on performance after the first semester. Worth it?

Good: high GPA (average school), strong LOR's, focused statement, 2 years research experience, 1 publication, and some international work experience. Bad: low GRE quant and didn't make the video. I got offered a Merit Scholarship that covers half my tuition, but I still don't have enough to attend! Does anybody know if an assistantship offer might come later? Nice rejection letter. They say they cannot admit more than 15 of 500 applicants. Was my top choice so I am disappointed.... 4a/0w/2r/5?

Can't believe I got into all 4 schools I applied :) My GPA & GRE are mediocre but I think my work experiences and SOPs are what got me in!! Woot woot! 24k funding from SAIS and 20k funding from Fletcher, 33k external funding from Georgetown (tentative) and no funding from SIPA (boo) Will most likely attend SAIS since it's been my dream school.
