Applied for PhD. Received an email today telling me that they cannot offer admission to PhD and asking mee if I would like to be considered for Masters. No funding info.

TPB: There were some early admits posted here. Nothing after that. I emailed them, but no reply. I wonder why it's taking so long.

TTPB: Can you please tell us did you interview with POI?

Was hopeful, real sad with this decision.

No fellowship and the advisor does not have funding to offer RAship. Is anyone like that?

thanks again UCSD

Immune to rejects!! Going to Stony Brook!! At least g8 ROI. So, hardly makes any difference!! UMass & Purdue to hear back from.. But seriously don't care.

TTPB: I feel you! I too got reject from gatech and ucsd on the same day. Really bummed out. As far as the quants score go, I have 167 so i dont really think your GRE score might be your downfall unless its less than 160. The admission process is just weird. I have lost all hopes and now have UMass and UCLA left to reply. Have an admit from USC but really skeptical of going there. Just really really hoping for UMass right now. If not Ill be broken.

Reject from GaTech as well on the same day. Rough day. I guess lower score in quants was my Achilles hill. Had very good research experience with 5 publications; more than 25 citations on one paper, one paper in A-level conference.

Well, this is expected. At this point, I don't know if I will get any admits at all! I'm giving up frens!
