Same here. I don't have any funded offers as of now but still not likely to accept the unfunded offer from Rutgers.

Hope all the competitive fellows get the good schools, so that least we'll get into our safe schools :(

TBP: Same, I haven't accepted yet and probably won't. A TA after the first year is by no means guaranteed and even if, the cost for just one year is still a lot of money (I'll have to pay out of state tuition)

TPB: I am considering to accept, but I still worry about their funding issues. The email said most of the unfunded students will be able to get TA funding after the first year, but considering they have funding issues for several years, I don't know if I can get it next year.

If you have an offer from Rtugers that you are not going to accept, PLEASE reject it! My future depends on it, please reject it early.

After being rejected from the History Ph.D. Program at Rutgers New-Brunswick, I was accepted at the M.A Program at Rutgers-Newark.

Does this program have a waitlist? I contacted the coordinator 10 days ago and she says "All applications are currently under consideration by the committee. Admitted students will be informed by mid April at the latest, and in many cases will be contacted earlier." I really like this program. Plz decline it if you don't go there. Thx.
