Am worried about the required comperhansive exam since my background is software engineering not ee

To those who are admitted: mind sharing who the dgs is if you are aware?

I am on the wait list but have not been contacted. What does it mean? Could it be that I am not in the short list and they don't bother contacting me...

Got an email from the administrative staff. They will contact for those who will be off the waitlist from today to the April 15th, but more toward April 15th. Let's pray for the call

I am guessing if there has been no update its just a mass/generic reject letter awaiting. Tough luck folks! To the other candidate asking about PhD...I dont think you should wait. I received a generic reject on April 15th last time I applied for MS. So expect the same. Make other preparations.

TTPB: what track did you apply for PhD? I'm still waiting for the decision

No funding info yet....

Did anyone hear from them?

Applied for PhD. Offered MS without funding. Declined the offer. Hope it's helpful for somebody.

No funding info. I wonder if anyone else has been offered some funding :/

I mailed them to ask my application status. An automated reply said that all acceptance emails have already been sent out, which implies only rejects will come now. I sent a follow up email to confirm this, and got my rejection mail within 5 minutes lol.

Did anyone get the admission from Nanoscale Devices and Systems (EC86)? My status is still "under review."
