TTPB: How come are you so sure that all the admits have been given out? I asked the grad administrator via mail and she said that the process is still ongoing, and to wait for few weeks till the portal is updated.

Update: it seems all of the admission letters have been sent out. For those who got the offer and won't come, could you please decline the offer asap? Thanks!

TTPB: I was accepted yesterday - communications networking signal and image processing.

email to check grad portal, no funding info yet

I'm the person who posted the previous comment; for some reason I'd searched for ECE and only one person had posted there - hence queried about funding. I haven't received the "offer letter" but an email that I have been recommended for admission. "Although we are unable to provide financial support for you at this time, many of our graduate students are able to secure teaching and research assistantships soon after arrival at Purdue." - can anyone advise what are the usual odds of gaining funding after joining?

Direct admit, no interview, no guaranteed funding. TTPB, congrats on acceptance. Were you offered funding?

TT Admitted Students: What was your area? Are there any Communications, Networking, Signal & Image Processing candidates?
