Got an email to check my portal and was notified that I am put on a waitlist of 16 people but doesn't say which position/spot I am! Hanging in there but pls deny your offers if you don't plan on attending!

Out of field, post-bac at CU Boulder, 3.3 undergrad, 3.9 CSD, SLPA, TA, volunteer/leadership, independent research in unrelated field, strong LORs

Checked portal and decision was posted. CSD GPA 4.0, strong LORs, lots of relevant experience in the field. Probably wouldn't have been able to attend due to out of state cost, but really love this school. Happy to say I was already accepted to my top choice. Congrats to everyone who got in!

Accepted!!! 3.9 GPA overall undergraduate GPA in SLHS, SLPA in Colorado.

I got an email 3/4 telling me to check my portal and I was accepted! I will likely not be attending as I was accepted into my top choice, but may attend the open house on March 19th to hear more about the program. Post-bacc student with some research experience.

I haven't heard anything either, but I am assuming it'll probably be mainly rejections being sent out today. As anyone who specified interest in physics education (or physics education in addition to research) heard back?

CMP-th. 4 years research experience, 2 co-author articles, a master's degree. "The year was an unusual one for our graduate applications. We received an enormous number (nearly 1200) which is due in part to the fact that we are one of the largest PhD programs in the US across many fields. We were very impressed by your application and it ranked highly. At this time you are on a small waitlist. The reason we had to create the waitlist is that we have a policy of guaranteeing financial support to all our students when they first come to Boulder. We endeavor to make sure every student has the best chance of success and opportunities for getting into a research group. This year we are being particularly cautious to make sure every admitted student receives this level of support." Open house March 12

Their grad admissions site says "This process runs from the last week of January through the first week of March, with students notified by email during that time frame." I also haven't heard back yet, but it should (?) be today.

Received acceptance with no funding. Internships at NASA Ames and NASA JSC. From a pretty unknown state school. Experience working on small-sats. Did not submit GRE. Good LORs.

If you have multiple offers and this one is not your first choice, please let them know as early as possible. For some of us, this is the dream school and the waiting is excruciating. :(

I was informed by my POI that I was seated on the waitlist, and that the chances of being offered a spot were slim to none. Spots were preferentially given to new PIs. Congrats to those offered!

My fourth offer. 22k. Had unofficial interview and several email exchanges with POI, then got an official interview in February. PI already informed me last week that I'll receive acceptance - it came in yesterday. I'll turn it down though. All the best to who gets it next.

Anybody know anything about their decisions timeline? I haven't heard back from any of these programs. It seriously pisses me off when they take years to get back to you and at the end of the day it's still a rejection. I mean, WTF!!!!
