I got a "Welcome" email today, as in a newsletter about the program. No info besides that. Could this be a mistake? Not sure whether to call and ask or wait...anyone else experience this?

Funding, if any, will come with a separate letter. No interview. Met with one minor POI for a while, and had short email conversations during the application process. Although Berkeley GSE was renowned at one time, I am not sure how good it is under the recent financial difficulty. Will see if there is funding.

got an email a decision had been made regarding my admission. asked to log into my account. a different kind of email than the rejection one (which i received from them 2 years ago) where I was directed to check my application status. Waiting for financial offer. Application status not yet updated. Good luck! in total disbelief

Got an email that UC Berkeley had made a decision regarding my application. Was so nervous it took me a while to create the online ID that would allow me to view the verdict. I still can't believe it. I applied to Berkeley and NYU. Still waiting to hear from NYU. Good luck to everybody else.
