Accepted with no funding. I am considering attending anyways but have not decided. Really want to get my PhD!

I don't understand why the school took so long to post these, but my cycle is finally over.

Comparative. Generic email.

Finally. Wish they would've sent out rejections earlier, many schools have offer deadlines in two weeks.

Looks like I struck out this cycle.

To those below looking for Government responses - my understanding is that all acceptances and waitlist announcements went out between February 15 and February 28 (see a few pages back to look at the acceptances listed on this site). Rejections have been slowly coming through, though much later than the mid-March timeframe initially promised. Would check the website to see if anything listed.

To the below poster: I haven't heard anything either, despite being told by admissions about a month ago we'd have results by mid March.

Has anyone heard results from Georgetown University, department of government? Any rejection email or any notification?

Disappointed considering top GRE scores, top GPA, previous grad degree from Georgetown, and excellent recommendations from Government department professors. Competitive program!

To the Georgetown poster below: They already contacted the two people who were offered funding.

Has anyone heard about the updated result?

Email acceptance today but with no funding. I haven't made my decision yet, have a couple other offers too.

Email to check website. Not sure about funding, but if none, I'll be turning it down.

I got rejected from my dream school of Georgetown but fortunately for me my backup school (George Mason University) accepted me. Oh well, the up side is I won't have as much debt. The key is to have a positive outlook :)
