Received notice to check portal. 1a/1r/0w/6p

Was holding out hope until they made the announcement on the website. No Phase 2 email for me. :( 0a/0w/1r/7p Not off to the best start, but I'm still hopeful.

Ole Miss finally updated their site to say that all phase 2 notifications have been sent out. 0a/0w/1r/6p

Email to check portal, and form rejection therein. Goodbye Minnesota dream. Onward! 1a/0w/1r/11p

Email to check portal to check decision letter. First notification of the season. Congrats to those accepted in a very competitive year :) and holding out hope for everyone else. 0a/0w/1r/11p

Checked the portal after getting the cryptic "Update Pending" message a lot of us received and it's updated now to "Status: Denied" - I'm guessing they'll follow up with a form letter email, but lol

The email went to my spam, and I found it there by chance two days later!

Got an email 2/10 to check update after "Update Pending" on portal, 24 hours later it was updated to "Denied". Note: it seems like they notified by email in alphabetical order, but I could be wrong. Not too upset, there are programs I want more than this one and this notification process was kind of a mess . Congrats to anyone who got in though

Why you gotta do me like that?

Noticed status on portal changed to Update Pending on 2/9/21. Received an email telling me of a status change on 2/10 that would be published in 1-2 business days. Status changed to Denied on 2/11. 0a/0w/2r/19p

Email to check portal. 24hrs later status updated to "Denied".

I see two other fiction waitlists here, wonder how long the list is for a program that accepts 4 students!

1st rejection. More rejections to come I am sure. Not confident about this season. Another year slogging through the trenches.
