Notified through email that I was offered admission, applied for March deadline, no interview requested.

I don't think admits are all out. I submitted my application on Dec 1 but says my application was completed on Jan 29. Their process is already slow enough and additionally COVID-19 cases started getting severe around Boston~NY area. Must be busy

I mailed UT Austin gradoffice on Monday. they said they will try to send all offers of acceptance and rejects by the end of this week. So i guess today we would hear from them, maybe.

Has anyone contacted Austin's grad admission office if there might be any more offers? From previous years they don't delay rejects this much.

My status is that too. I thought decisions were delayed due to COVID, perhaps that's why csgradof isn't answering either. I haven't been contacted by a POI either. TTPB are you sure all admits are out?

TTPB: Sounds like UCSD is rather inconsiderate. I mean, if you have to be competing against the new batch of applicants then it is NOT a deferral, but rather a reapplication. Anyways I am losing my hope for this program already. I can't think of any reason why they would admit any new candidates at this point of time.

TTPB, Who was your POI ? Are you sure there is no waitlist ? My status is still "Under department review" . Also did you get in as well?

If anyone has a better offer and was accepted into this, please kindly reject this so that I can stand a chance. They have chosen 7 people as of now, and my WL no. is less than 10. I would be grateful. Thanks !

Seems like all the offers are out. It's pretty late.

I am still waiting for my admissions results. I emailed the CSE department at UCSD; they said admissions results will be finalized by mid April. I deferred my admission from last year and am being reconsidered for admission with this year's applicant pool.

TTPB: Thanks for letting me know. Now I see that the status is "To Dept For Review". Well, I guess in any case it doesn't really matter anymore!

TTPB whose status is "Paid" : I guess you're looking for your status in the wrong place. You would have to view your checklist to find your actual status.
