:(

Rejects after rejects, just making me feel I don't deserve the ones I got also lol.

Ambitious, still had hope that relative research work exp can make a break through...only apply if gpa >8 and had great profile...or save 140 bucks

Kinda sad. Was hoping to get this. Congratulations to all the admits.

Go Tritons!

any news on ucsd mechanical engineering?!

Cum 3.14, major GPA 3.8. I got waitlisted at number 50. Obviously I know 50 people aren't going to reject SF. I'm pretty upset. I knew my stats were low but I got an interview here and had hope. Got waitlisted at one other school and rejected from the rest. Maybe next year.. congrats to everyone accepted

Graduated on the dean's list from an Ivy League school (BS), fully-funded research Masters, three publications (two of which are first author). Various conference presentations, internships, journal reviews, research apprenticeships, and research assistant positions. Had had contact/Zoom interviews with multiple PIs. First time applying to SIO.

Acceptance from the graduate program director in an email, with official acceptance from the university to follow sometime this week. I'm thrilled!

Three years in a row of applying and still not enough. Good luck to you all

Email from PI on April 5, official email from the university on April 6

No GRE, No IELTS, No Paper. Only some research experience and pure luck.

TTBP who got UCSD. Congrats! Any reason why choosing Ga tech over UCSD?

Got an email....check website

I just checked the website and the decision was out. Though I have not received an email to check the website yet so anybody that applied for PhD at UCSD may check the website.
