Undergraduate Degree in Physics (8.95), from Greek University. Rejection expected.

American student with a master's degree and bachelor's degree, both 3.9 GPAs. Relevant government related experience and strong letters of recommendation. Competition must have been crazy this year.

2 years out of undergrad. 3 languages, relevant work and volunteer experience, did undergraduate research.

Received an email. No news about funding, which sucks -- I wish I knew how expensive it was going to before I have to make a decision

[Not Acceptance] The Lethbridge gender ec thing is a troll, but that doesn't mean that the original referral from MPhil is.

TPB: Not to be cynical but you're either being trolled or are a troll. No one gets offered a straight DPhil without a masters or even RA work and such poor GRE grades. To others: ignore this person. They're either an awesome freak of nature there's no point comparing yourself to, or a person being scammed, or a mean-minded troll.

Undergrad from a top 5 IIT. 1 conference paper + 2 in submission. Great GPA and projects, but not a crisp SOP. Congrats to those who got in.

TPB: To the person who got the DPhil after being referred from the MPhil, could you kindly share your stats and applicant details here? It would give us an idea for what to expect today

2am GMT generic rejection email, applied by the November deadline and was re-evaluated after January deadline.

Very polite email saying application has not been successful. Good luck to others!

Rejected without being called for an interview

Just received an email notification that I've been accepted! I applied for the MPhil, but was instead referred to and received an admission for the DPhil program with a 15k stipend and tuition waiver. Good vibes to everyone else who has applied and is waiting!!

Didn't expect them to send out an acceptance on the weekend; very surprised. Amity University; acceptance conditional on 70 without distinction.

I was accepted last year (without financial aid), but got rejected this time around. Tough luck I guess!

Consistent 1sts throughout my degree in music (non RG), two years of experience working in industry to inform research I hoped to undertake at Oxford. Got the dreaded 2am email but after the 10 week mark passed it was expected.

Statistics, probability theory and machine learning. Working as a data scientist. Undergrad major in mathematics, double minor in computer science and informational systems. Have a TA experience throughout my bachelor degree.
