Just got pulled off the wait-list for the forensic track. In debate between Pacific and another program.

Emailed to the graduate director and she said the decisions will be sent out in the next week if you applied before 31st Dec.

Weird school! Unexpected!! As many before me mentioned, their acceptance criteria seems highly nondeterministic, I'd advise anyone applying there to contact and have interview with professors before submitting the application, otherwise don't do it. Waste of $85 dollars and time.

Rejected, no explanation, even no email notification. Why? I thought this is a safe choice.

Did ANYONE in EECS/EE get an interview at OSU? Seems like they accepted so few grad students.

This is really strange. I guess they just didn't have funding or something because I got into several top 10 schools (not bragging), but rejected from OSU... which was a back-up.

Doesn't really matter, got a much better place to go. Good luck everyone!

I guess the ranking for this program is pretty high

The decisions don't make sense anymore. I considered OSU to be a safe university. Glad I have better admits though.

Anybody here who got Ph.D. acceptance from the University of Oregon networks and systems group? Also, when?

Not sure why I got rejected. Got into multiple other far better programs, so not too disappointed

I was one of the earlier people who posted that was told I was third on the waitlist. I was called on 3/19 as well as emailed with my acceptance. PI will either be PV or CJ. I will be accepting the offer.
