Its not about status, but I want to know if anyone has received any response to Chemistry PhD program

Ignore waitlist. Is there anyone who hasn't heard from them yet? I see two rounds of o/r and wl, but I've not heard anything and my status remains 'Awaiting Decision'. Is that a sign of rejection?

A top choice for me and for those who already have better offers, it's really really nice of you to decline this offer from NCSU. Anyway, just wait to see what will happen and don't expect too much.

Interviewed in mid Jan, received acceptance packet from dept via email including funding info. Official acceptance from school coming shortly

Got the phone call today at around 4:45 ET!!! I was feeling so discouraged after seeing people get accepted yesterday, and I am absolutely shocked by the news. Best of luck to everyone!

Email to Check portal. Not surprised since I saw an acceptance here a week ago

Reached out to the program via email and they said "We have begun sending out offers for admission and are now waiting to hear back from those who received initial offers. As we hear who accepts and who does not we will continue to make additional offers. Just as a bit of context, there were a fairly large number of folks who interviewed so please consider all options available to you for your graduate studies"
