2 publications, one in nature. 4 years of experience

my undergrad gpa is 2.3 with top 30% ranking, current graduate program gpa is 3.1, no work experience, they put me on the priority waitlist ,gmat 700 no GRE

Competitive liberal arts college undergrad. 3 publications but 0 first author. 4 years research experience postbac. Skyped with POI after hearing I had gotten an interview last week. At the end of the conversation they mentioned that I "would definitely be accepted" after the interview process

Work experience is definitely the key.

Has anyone been in contact with the admissions office - does anyone know when we will be notified, I applied by the original April 30 deadline.

Around 24K fellowship. Undergrad at public ivy, graduated Phi Beta Kappa. GRE 1 -- V: 170 (99) Q: 156 (63) AWA: 5.5 (97) | GRE 2 -- V: 167 (97) Q:158 (70) AWA 4.5 (82) | Work Experience: Four years of full-time relevant work experience, three years of part-time internship experience at government agency. High-intermediate Arabic, one year living in Middle East.

"You should have heard from our program administrator, apologies if that hasn't occurred. Unfortunately, we have completed our recruiting and I can not offer you good news."

Has anyone had news about the waiting list? Accepted students had till 15th to accept or decline the offer.

Like the other's it seems Georgetown is the school this year determined to reject people 3 times. I'm fortunate to be accepted at a top 15 program, so I'm not sad, it's just weird how persistent they were in their rejections this year.

Same for me as the guys/girls below. Rejection from waitlist , but in my case I had already received rejection letter from Georgetown TWICE before this one. Not cool guys, not cool.

Off the waitlist. E-mail from Professor Rust. That was my first best option this year. So sad!

Same as poster below on being waitlisted without any notification. That was very odd.

I've just received an e-mail from John Rust telling me that they were taking me out of the waiting list because they have already completed their class. The weird thing is that they never told me that I was on the waiting list. The only mail they send me, was a rejection one.
