I cannot see any checklist now. There are just UPLOAD DOCS and EDIT PORTFOLIO sections. This could possibly mean I am just a few light-years away from my decision. God Help!

Waitlisted and eventually rejected for PhD, thought I had a good shot of getting into the program after the Open House. Was accepted into the research-track Master's but apparently they are very short on funding this year so I won't be able to afford it :(

Haven't heard anything but there's the admit website that says commit deadline is the 15th so not sure whether they've just concluded without sending replies back?

Bruh what is good with this. Applied to PhD, got into Masters. (1) I put on my profile to only consider me for PhD (2) They released results a week after their new coronavirus date of 4/3 (3) I got an email 2 days ago saying my app was updated just to log in and see that the official decision would be up in 1-2 days. Seriously cuh, come one

TTPB. Well I emailed them this Tuesday, and got no reply from them. Two days later, I got a reject from them. Background: GRE:153+169+4; GPA:3.838; Double major in CS and Math, graduate in three years, one year research with project. My background might not be strong enough, especially the GRE score :(

TTPB. I emailed them using other offers as well. That was a Monday when I emailed them and was told to wait till that Friday. And on Friday I was admitted. So I guess emailing the AO does not hurt. I even think it helps a little bit in the sense that your profile may 'cut the line' so you don't have to wait so long.

I applied about 2 months ago and still have not get an interview yet. I emailed asking the AO if they have rejected me already and the answer is no. They told me I am a strong candidate but still need to wait patiently for another two weeks. TBH I don't know what are they doing over the past months. I have already been admitted to better places but just want to see how this one ends, so far it's been not very pleasing. I'm gonna have to withdraw when April 15th hits.

Any other Columbia applicants still able to 'update any section' of application? Does this only change after decision or when your app goes under review?

TTPB: What everyone means is that up till yesterday, the portal showed a message saying "your application has been submitted to..." at the top, in addition to the checklist, portfolio and upload sections. Now, that message has disappeared and only checklist, portfolio and upload sections remain. Since this seems to have happened to everyone, it feels like a mass reject is on the way.

Did not hear anything from them for so long that I thought I got rejected. Got an email asking me to check portal this morning. Happy to see the admission letter.
