Recommended for admission to MSc at Rutgers-Camden instead.

Checked the postal and saw the rejection. They did not respond to any of my inquiries after my submission for the application, and they even did not bother to send me an email to notify me the decision before 4.15, feels like I paid the application fee for nothing, terrible experience.

Got the rejection email today. I agree with the previous poster. Rutgers Statistics took forever to send this to me. Seems like the department is unorganized. Thankfully I had accepted another program before the April 15 deadline

Finally received a decision over a week past the deadline for other schools (accepted another offer) having not received any other communication since the app deadline in January. Hopefully future applicants can take note the department seems like a mess and will leave you hanging for a long time.

Reached out to professor in department, was informed I was waitlisted and they would like to conduct an interview, I was accepted off the waitlist two days later. I think reaching out to a department member/interview made the difference. I wish everyone else the best of luck!

Finally notified of my rejection from Rutgers University after being placed on the wait list. It was a very kind letter. I will be attending the CUNY MA program.

No email notification, just checked website for admit status. Very poor communication from the department overall, having never received an email since my interview about my status, even after badgering them a couple times. Heard through the grapevine the department is limiting acceptances due to COVID-19.

Checked website. No notification was sent but I've been checking the website daily. I was told by the grad director in early April that the coronavirus situation made the University instruct them not to send any more offer because of budgetary problems. Good luck to everyone who got in!

Interviewed on January 24th. Never heard from them after. Randomly checked website.

TTPB: I got the result on the website, the status of my application says: The committee has denied the application. I haven't received the official letter. If your status is still showing no decision maybe you are on the waitlist or they just haven't updated all the rejections yet. Good luck.

TTPB: Did you see your rejection on admissionservices.rutgers.edu or some place else? This site is not showing me any status or any updates of any kind. Please help. Did you also get an email maybe?
