I got a private email from one Professor regarding an interview. We did the interview over Skype on 12/30.

Could the person who received an interview for UCSD post the POI initials? Thanks!

Interviewed with POI this morning.

Totally wasn't expecting a call! Interview Feb 20-23 :O

Primarily undergraduate institution/ medium-sized state school, ~2 years of research experience with three publications all in the process of being submitted (two first author). GRE V: 165, 93% Q: 165, 86% AW: 5.0, 92%. Got a 720 (57%) on chem GRE but did not submit. Two national poster presentations, four regional, and one at Merck Laboratories as a part of an ACS Division of Organic Chemistry SURF fellowship. Two strong LORs from PI and co-PI and one so-so LOR from my physical chemistry I, II, and lab professor.

There is no interview

Got notice on the holiday.

Previous poster, responding to question about process for this program: got an email from dept recommending me for admission to dean. Visitation days in february but no interview.

Interview date 1/30-2/1

To the poster below, is there any further step such as interview? Or did you get accepted without having to go to interview? Thanks!

system neuroscience focused

Email from my POI asking to schedule an interview between Dec 26-Jan 4. She emailed me back within less than 5 days of my application submission. This is my first correspondence back out of my 8 submissions so far - I AM ECSTATIC!

E-mail indicates acceptance and an invitation to a visitation weekend. Excited!
