Received an email telling me to check my application for a decision.

Asked about admissions and got this answer: "Thank you for your email and interest in our program. Our admissions committee is still reviewing applications and hope to have an answer for you in the coming weeks, as our interview event is next month."

"We are still in the process of evaluating applications. We should be done in the next few weeks."

First acceptance— molecular epi track. I’m beyond excited, this was my top choice program.

So happy to receive this acceptance! Email to check status followed by another email with some welcome weekend info (2/20-2/22). Funding guaranteed for 9 months every year for 5 years, with plenty of Summer funding available (though not guaranteed).

No email. But the status in my portal changed and said I was rejected. So great I guess.

Pleasantly surprised. I may be a bit of an outlier as I originally applied to a different program, but received the invite from the Interdisciplinary Genetics Program. I come from a neuroscience background. Very excited!

I suspect any international applicant (outside US) gets shortlisted by JHU Human Genetics program.
