Had an interview with PI. He was shifting to another school and asked me to shift with him. I politely declined the offer. Also received the option of recoding the application to the MEng Program at UIUC post rejection.

3 internships with prestigious organizations. Awesome letters of rec. Applied to MS program but got bumped up to Ph.D. after discussing career goals with advisor during interview. Full funding as graduate student researcher. Research area: Applied Electromagnetism

Applied to ECE - Circuits & VLSI track. Got an email today saying there was an update on the portal. Got the rejection letter on the application portal. My profile - tier3 college, 9.3 gpa, 3 interhsips, no papers.
