I got into Project Track and will likely be deferring to Fall'24 as I haven't prepared jack shit in terms of finances and Visa; I had applied to 3 US unis only out of which UMN(rejected) , Northwstern University(got an admit within 8 days of appyng in March, but I had decided to defer due to shit ton of money which I don't think I have and apply for other unis next fall intake) and Purdue. But now that I have got Purdue I will most likely be going there next fall. I chose this path predominantly because I have a job offer in hand and at the moment I think instead of rushing with the visa and loan process It would be in my best interest to gain Industry experience for a year.

Ignore the waitlist. Anyone got MEng offers/ rejections from ECE. It is more than 6 months since I submitted the application and yet to hear from them. No update other than "Your application has been received." on SGS/ ECE Application System.

Track: EC78 Undergrad study in China: Xidian University and the UK: Heriot-Watt University.

Did not submit my GRE scores. Originally applied to the computer science program but also had my application reviewed for the computer engineering program as well. My undergrad was computer engineering. This is my second year applying. Don't let rejections discourage you, keep trying! Good luck everyone!

Please reject the offer as soon as possible if you are not going to accept it.

A bit weird, as the reason for rejection is stated to be "mismatch in interest", and I had discussed my interests with my potential adviser and had two interviews with him before applying.

DICE track Took me for a stupid ride and wasted time. Barry and rest of the admission staff were really useless. No responses, constant delays. DO NOT Apply if you are INTERNATIONAL as they do not accept MS students for DICE track. DO NOT waste your application $$ and go to some other better university. At least they will reject faster.

Ah shit, here we go again.

Took them from Dec to May to make their decision. They had already sent offers in Feb and kept all other applicants until May without saying anything about their application status.
