OKAY POG! First acceptance, I am beyond excited, one published manuscript (two in the works) - triple majoring in chemical engineering, statistics, chemistry, have a volunteer tutoring company, three letters of rec from two PIs and a professor I graded chemical engineering papers for, I am just bouncing off the walls. Got the call this afternoon (just shy of 2 weeks after interview) !! ~2.5 years of research experience including full-time over the summer with second author manuscript.

Interviewed and got a phone offer. Top 25 university, 1 year research experience (started Summer 2021), fraternity leadership experience. No papers, but trying to present a poster at ACS in August.

3 Journal Publications (1 first author). 2.5 years teaching experience.

Dual major math and a minor in computer science. ChE major GPA 3.86. 1 year of research with great recommendations from professors.

Got an email at 9 pm last night from the department.

2 years of research experience, top private school in India. 1 submitted paper, 1 conference presentation.

I just got the e-mail, and I am absolutely shaking in disbelief
