course based ms, 90+/100 GPA, one co-authored CVPR workshop paper, one paper submitted to ICCV19, research intern work experience, dunno what more could they expect from us

Its May 2 and Waterloo hasn't given a yes or no on both of my applications. Need to know very soon. Would otherwise have to go somewhere else.

Applied for MMath in CS in December. Was not interviewed, so this was sort of expected.

I read on Yocket that all the decisions will be out today. I saw a few rejects so far but did anyone get an admit today?

TTPB, when did you hear back from Waterloo. I haven't heard back. Did you get a mail or did your quest get updated ? Thanks !

At this point in time, I knew this was going to be a reject. But hey! at least I got the result!

Has anyone’s application been shifted to MDSAI from MMath CS yet?

I don't think there's any use of waiting for Waterloo's response. I accepted another university's offer since I've to arrange visa and loan. It's really unprofessional from their side being one of the top 25 universities in the world.

TTPB: By May 29? WTH! Am I supposed to hold my breath and wait on my contingency plan wondering if I got in or not? This is outrageous man!

TTPB: IIRC, someone mentioned here that they got a response from the University that result will be out by 29th May. Canadian Universities seem to be very lazy with their decisions. UofT was suppose to send decisions by mid April. smh
