no interview or notification of anything i was just wondering if anyone has heard from Rice? They’re my last school I am waiting on before I can make a decision so I am curious!

"The University of Florida English program did not approve your application for Fall 2026 admission to its Doctor of Philosophy program. If you have any questions about this decision, please contact the English program." Not a very nice or thoughtful letter after all the time and energy I put into the application. They also didn't even bother sending an email about the admission decision (or replying to any of mine when I inquired a few weeks ago about status updates). I found it randomly on the portal.

Emailed them to ask about an update, and they said they have already sent out acceptances and waitlists, but can't send out denials until after April 15th.

GPA is MA. American applicant. Email to check portal.
