To the post below, I also had a very bad experience with UNC chapel hill. They are just as*holes. Future applicants please be aware about their ignorance. I withdrew my application because of this and i got accepted into a much better program (I wanted to give UNC a chance). | ||||

To the poster UNC poster below. While I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience this admissions season with UNC, it's not safe to assume this is how they deal with all applicants. I was accepted in January and they were more than accommodating throughout the entire process. Future applicants shouldn't be put off by one other person's bad experience. Well, after waiting far beyond reasonable I am giving up on UNC and accepting another offer today. I have never gotten any responses to queries other than "we apologize for the long wait, but your application is still under review, blah blah blah" I must admit that their application process does not inspire a positive impression anyway. If anyone ever hears anything, please post it here. | ||||
