Please ignore the status. My advisor at UBC told me I would receive the offer shortly, but two weeks past I still haven't received the offer. Does anyone receive anything from UBC?

I've been working with the advisor for half a year before the admission, no pub, I was the first batch to get admitted

Quantum Simulation/Quantum Machine Learning - 7 months of computational research experience in a different field (nuclear engineering) - 16 months of industry internship in a different field (analog IC design) - undergrad in Engineering Physics (Canadian citizen) - reached out to two potential supervisors in December (kinda late I guess), one of them never responded, had a meeting with the other one but he said he could only take me on if I got NSERC (we don't hear back about NSERC until the end of March but somehow UBC already decided to reject me)

2 pubs - 3 years of research exp - relevant LoRs - PI acknowledged email and put in a word for me.
