Generic rejection letter

I expected a rejection at this point but it’s insulting for results to have taken this long.

GPA Masters. Absolutely insulting for them to string along any applicant until May 1st. Zero notification beforehand, they didn't answer any emails sent to them about the process, nothing. Waiting almost six months for a decision to a school is an incredibly red flag, I would never apply here again. Terrible end to an even worse cycle 0.5a/0w/0i/5.5r

I wouldn’t have known about my rejection had I not emailed, which is disappointing. I urge anyone else still waiting to reach out.

Radio silence until I emailed them directly on April 15th. I knew I wasn't getting in but it would've been nice to hear anything at all.

"we truly enjoyed reviewing your materials... [&] were genuinely impressed by your application" like you aren't saying that to every pretty girl on the street who passes by

Went to NU as undergrad. But alas, a second stint was not to be.

My undergraduate degree is in the humanities and I have one year of relevant post-undergraduate work experience. I received an email at 11:00 a.m. on 04/14 with my acceptance letter. They really had me sweating up until the last minute!

Interviewed in early January, received rejection in April and since I said I was interested in the Masters program, was let to know I would hear about that by July

Emailed with PhD rejection, was told I am being considered for MS. Undergrad with 2 years of research experience but no publications yet.
