Received an email to check portal where I received a generic letter from Admissions. Ecstatic as I am applying for mostly part-time options, am not geographically mobile, and have been out of school (but in the field) for 5+ years. 1a/1r/2p

Truly surprised given that McMaster is simply a third-tier university in Canada.

I will be very grateful if you have another offer and decline this one. It is my only chance for a PhD in this cycle.

Domestic student. Did Ungrad and first MA at Mac not in Political Science. Did second MA in the discipline at UofT.

It shows "Denied" on the portal- no email yet, but feels a bit funny there's not been communication from the program?

Applied to global politics. Haven't received the rejection email yet but was listed on the website. Not mad about it.... the school is very liberal with little room for different ideas. Probably is for the best. Good luck everyone!rn

Email from the graduate secretary that my application has been recommended for admissions and that I will hear more details in 4-7 business days. US Undergrad in IR and Math. Canadian MA in Political Science.
