The POI said he is waiting for the funding request to be accepted. Then, I guess, I will receive the official offer.

I urge everyone who applied to this program to maybe directly contact your supervisor of interest regarding your application or call the administrative office to ensure that your application is complete. My supervisor emailed me saying they wish to offer me a position but the application could not be found in the system. I ended up having to call and have them directly forward the application to my supervisor. Just waiting to hear back about my offer now! Good luck to everyone still waiting
