Didn't submit GRE (not required). 4.0 Neuroscience GPA, 3.91 Cumulative GPA, good extracurriculars and great letters.

This is so stupid. Thanks so much for being my #1 and then rejecting me. Tbh, I'm a CS undergrad but the PI was only accepting thru CogSci so I applied to this department. I have 5 publications (2 accepted to NAACL 2 in review and 1 journal submission in review) and I won CRA honorable mention. I'm pretty sure my LoRs were also out of this world. Gpa is a 3.59 which isn't the best but come one brother its CSE.

On site visit/interview scheduled first week of February. Higher master's GPA then uGPA listed above. One publication in a top venue, one workshop paper. Both first author. Didn't submit GRE's. Good research fit, good letters.

Email to check portal; generic rejection email. 2 internships in occupational therapy, current RA at Yale, 1 poster publication with Yale. Doesn't surprise me; after 3.5 months of wait and no move to the proposal phase, I figured it wasn't a good fit.
