Computer Science, University Of Toronto Top tier Indian research institute. Degree in abstract mathematics. Decent GPA, 2 international publications in machine learning, multiple under review, strong LORs, strong SOP. Rejects from CMU, Princeton, Stanford and now UoT.

(Pure) Mathematics, The University Of Toronto Sent the dept. an email and was told that I was shortlisted (explains the wait lol) but they were unable to make an offer in the end. They will be sending out official letter at the end of this week. Best of luck to other applicants!

Pure Mathematics, University Of Toronto To Toronto Pure Math OP below: Exactly the same here. Nothing yet, but then again, I haven't seen a single "accepted"-message around here either... Slightly strange. (BTW: is it only the two of us who are communicating here?)
