Invitation to finalists' weekend, Feb. 18 and 19

Received email to check application status. Rejection letter noted more applicants this year than previously.

I got an email telling me to check the website portal. Acceptance with funding! No GRE, was invited to finalist weekend, lovely interviews with lovely people.

Received an email from POI inviting me for interviews with them and another professor + their research groups' meetings + the Finalists weekend. Track: Learning Sciences and Human Development.

Applied on Jan 15th, emailed the department this morning requesting a status update, got emailed back 8 hours later with a notification that my portal status was updated, and got a rejection. It was pretty generic and stated that they had a high number of applicants to the program this year. Curious to know how many applied vs how many they accepted.

I got my email at 5:05 PM. Education GPA 3.9

Masters GPA is 3.9

"A decision has been made you will be contacted with further details" was posted on the website a few days ago. Then I got the letter in the mail.
