  • Same email listed below. I got a Fulbright to do HEP-th in the Netherlands, and I chose to decline my current offers and reapply to some of my favorite programs next year. I was fairly successful with securing fee-waivers for next year since I already used my entire bank account this cycle. Good luck everyone

  • Well, I’m pretty sure I’ve been rejected now, but it would be nice to get some kind of update. I haven’t heard anything at all for a month despite emailing. I didn’t get accepted anywhere else so basically my future hinges on their decision, and my anxiety levels are through the roof over not knowing.

  • Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Perimeter Scholars International program in Theoretical Physics. The competition was truly intense this year, with 688 applicants vying for one of 30 positions. During our application review process, we thoroughly reviewed and considered the applications we believed to be truly exceptional. Your application was part of that group. In the end, we were unable to offer you one of the positions in the PSI program, but this is not a result of any shortcoming in your application. Factors such as research interest, plans for the future and other elements were taken into consideration when assessing such an outstanding pool of applicants. We hope that you will continue your interest in the opportunities at Perimeter Institute. Again, thank you for your interest in PSI. We wish you every success in your future studies and hope to hear from you regarding our other programs or future opportunities.

We hope that you will continue your interest in the opportunities at Perimeter Institute. We now offer online PSI courses, as well as PIRSA - a free, searchable, and citable archive of recorded seminars from relevant bodies in physics. We also run a very successful visiting study program, where students from other institutions can visit Perimeter and collaborate with faculty. If you are interested in these or any of our other opportunities, please feel free to contact us for more details. Again, thank you for your interest in PSI. We wish you every success in your future studies and hope to hear from you regarding our other programs or future opportunities.
