Emailed to ask status, offered MS with "potential scholarship"

GPA is Masters. 0A/1W/15R/0P. No interviews. Email notification that I am not among those selected. May revisit in coming weeks as people accept/decline. Not likely.

Timeline: 12/1 submission – 12/16 interview – 2/13 prospective student day – 3/23 informal acceptance – 3/27 formal acceptance

RIP The admissions committee has gone through all the applications, conducted preliminary interviews with the first round of short-listed candidates, and made initial admissions offers. If you have not received communication from the admissions team yet, your application has not been chosen among this group of short-listed candidates. However, as the candidates offered admission make their decisions, the committee may revisit applications in the coming weeks.

Has anyone heard of movement from the waitlist in previous years? Trying to get a sense of how likely it is to receive an offer later on.

IGNORE STATUS. Anyone knows why GU hasn't sent rejections yet? Did anyone receive a formal rejection? From what I gather on Grad Cafe, it seems acceptances and wait lists are out for weeks now... but I haven't received anything. I know it's 99.99% rejection, but I really want to officially put this cycle behind me and move on to deciding between my acceptances... it's so annoying they hold the notification with no apparent reason

Ignore waitlist. I haven’t heard anything yet, has anyone else? I saw someone post an acceptance on LinkedIn last week but that is the only thing so far.
